URBAN CHESSBOARD

Original painting · 80 × 100 cm

A geometric abstract composition that transforms the dynamics of the modern city into a considered game of chess. Structured lines of skyscrapers and city blocks meet freely expressive texture. Contrasts of shadow, earthy tones, white and gold evoke the interplay of light and shade in the urban landscape, where every building, street and light has its place.
